License Testing

Are you interested in obtaining your Amateur Radio License? Look no further the Denton County Amateur Radio Association is here to help you achieve that goal. Whether you attend one of our weekend training classes with included test session or you just want to take the exam, the DCARA is here to help you in your journey. Our volunteer instructors combine their forces to offer the Technician Class at least bi-annually. Do you have a group and want a special training class? We may be able to accommodate, especially if you have a meeting room available. Reach out to the DCARA Secretary, Nancy Graff – AG5MQ for license courses.

If you are seeking just license exams, we have partnered with Volunteer Examiner Mike Nelson – K5YX to provide once a month exams for all three license courses. Check out his schedule on hamstudy.org for more details.
