The ARRL CW Rookie Roundup happened on Sunday, December 21st at the old EOC building.
The Elmers introduced themselves and discussed how to learn Morse code and how to get started sending CW. This was followed by one-on-one sessions where the Elmers demonstrated a CW exchange between two stations. The Elmers brought their vast CW keyer and paddle collections.
Fred Stephens was one of the original DCARA members and he had many CW related stories to tell and advice on learning Morse code.
Debbie Wells brought delicious snacks to accompany the DCARA-supplied pizza.
