Technician License Class

The Denton County Amateur Radio Association (DCARA) will host an Amateur Radio Technician License Study Class on March 26th to 28th. This study class along with study material also provided will prepare you to take your exam on the final day of the class. Using these materials, DCARA has had a greater than 90% pass rate.

The cost of this class is $50.00. This will include:
$25.00 for Class Study book.
$25.00 for your exam fee and other misc. items.
(You can pay cash or go to our Web site at www.dcara.net and pay thru PayPal. For those with a city, county, or gov. agency, DCARA will accept your agency's check. But please, no personal checks).

After completion of the class and passing of the exam, you will also be given DCARA membership for one year (normally $20.00).

The dates and times of the class are:

Fri. 26th 6:00pm to 9:30ish
Sat. 27th 8:00am to 5:30ish
Sun. 28th 8:00am to 1:00 (testing starts at 1:00PM)

You may purchase your study book separately if you wish. Barnes and Nobles has the book in their online store for $18.21 and will ship to your door for $3.99 in a couple of days for a total of $22.20(told this by an in store employee). Class cost will then be $25.00. The information you will need to order the book is:
